Rise FM is a Dance and Techno Station in GTA III and GTA Liberty City Stories. The playlist is presented as a continuous liveset which is being played and broadcast live from a nightclub called The Planetarium. In GTA III, The Columbian Cartel listens to this almost exclusively. In GTA LCS, in 1998, it is hosted by Boy Sanchez, and by 2001, in GTA III, it is hosted by Andre the Accelerator. Rise FM Headquarters is located in Newport, in Staunton Island, Liberty City. It is nonstop, and only has commercials at the end of the Station's Loop.

Trivia Edit

  • Rise FM was left behind when remastering for the PC version of GTA III occurred. So all other stations have high quality, while Rise FM has PS2-ish quality. Differences between Rise and other stations are audible.
  • The Rise FM Music in GTA III were mixed by Terry Donovan.
